1. The only reason the use USB-power is to keep cost down. Hegel always want to make cost effective products, to give as good cost preformance as possible. We have never experienced problems with long USB-cables and HD2. But of course the computer power supplu and USB output driver internal in computer can give some problems if USB-power of computer is lower than normal. In this case problems with 3m cabel of What Hifi must be because of bad computer.
使用USB供电的唯一理由是为了降低成本。HEGEL总是想制造性价比尽可能高的产品。我没从未遇到HD 2在使用长USB线时会产生任何问题。当然,如果电脑的USB电源供应是比正常低的话,那么电脑的电源供应及电脑内部的USB输出驱动器会产生一些问题。在这种情况下不好的电脑使用3米长的USB线也会产生问题。
2. HD2 use one crystal oscillator for USB-interface and one crystal oscillator for master clock. This is th ebest possible solution for high quality sound. The master clock of HD2 is extremely stabel with very low jitter.
HD 2给USB界面使用了一枚晶振,给主时钟使用了一枚晶振。这是获得好声音的最佳解决方案。HD 2的主时钟及其稳定,时基误差极低。
3.All USB audio intercase use USB1.1 or USB2.0. 192k / 24bit can be transferred using USB 2.0
所有USB界面使用USB 1.1或USB 2.0,USB 2.0 可传输192K/24BIT数字讯号。
4. There are many upgrades for HD20:
1. User interface: display, remote control, computer playlist control,built in preamp volume control
2. New USB-interface with lower jitter and 96k / 24bit
3. New current to voltage converters after DAC-IC
4. New analog filters and audio output drivers
5. New low noise power supply for DAC-IC and Master clock, gives lower jitter
6. New Coax1 digital input circuit. The Coax1 input will correct for impedance problems of "75 ohm" digital cables. 75 ohm digital cables using RCA plugs are really not true 75 ohm cables. This gives jitter problems. Hegel has found a clever way of correcting the 75 ohm impedance problems, and this new solution is implemented for coax1 input of HD20.
Generally the above changes gives a higher dynamic range, more clear sound and much lower jitter levels.
The new Coax1 digital input circuit have about 50% of the sound improvement, and the other 50% of improvement is because of point 3, 4 and 5.
HD 20有许多改良:
1、有显示屏、遥控、电脑播放列表遥控、内置前级音量控制;
2、全新的低时基误差USB界面,可接受96K/24BIT讯号;
3、DAC后面使用了新的I/V转换芯片;
4、全新的模拟滤波器及音频输出驱动器;
5、使用噪声更低的电源给解码芯片和主时钟供电,从而获得更低的时基误差;
6、全新的COAX 1数字输入电路。COAX 1输入会修正数码线的75欧阻抗问题。使用RCA插头的数码线很多时候并不是真正的75欧,这样会带来时基误差的问题。HEGEL发现一种修正75欧阻抗的好方法,就用在HD 20的COAX 1输入端口;
上述的改良令HD 20有更大动态,更清晰的声音和更低的时基误差。
5. No. Hegel thinks using a computer or for example a squeezebox touch is a more cost effective solution, giving the same sound quality.
不,HEGEL认为使用电脑或SQUEEEBOX TOUCH会是一种更超值的解决方案,也获得同样的音质。
6 No. Hegel thinks todays wireless transfer systems is not good enough for high quality sound. There are to much interference from other transmitters and too much jitter problems. Maybe there will be available better wireless solutions for transfer of HD audio later, let's hope so! Hegel products already have USB-inputs, SPDIF coax inputs and Optical SPDIF inputs. These are the most popular digital inputs. If the end user want to connect IPOD then he can buy a low cost docking station and connect the docking station to the SPDIF coax input.
不,HEGEL认为今天的无线传输系统的音质仍不够好。传输器会受很多因素干扰并引入太多的时基误差。可能以后会有更好的HD音频无线传输方案,让我们拭目以待。HEGEL的产品已经有USB、SPDIF、光纤输入,这些都是最流行的数字输入方式。如果终端用户想连接IPOD,它可以买个便宜的插机座,然后通过机座和解码器的同轴输入连接。
7. For Hegel CAS is important and gives us good chance to show the technical capabilities of Hegel design team. Designing DAC products is a daunting task, and only by combining many different and advanced fields within electronics it is possibel to make very good DACs. However Hegel being very strong within CAS and DACs does not mean that Hegel will stop making very good analog amplifiers. Hegel will continue producing very high quality integrated amplifiers, preamplifiers and power amplifiers. In the future Hegel will also make more products combining analog amplifiers with high quality digital inputs.
对于HEGEL来说,CAS是重要的,并且给我们更好的机会以展示HEGEL设计团队的技术可行性。设计解码器是一项艰巨的任务,只有集合许多不同领域人员和先进的技术才能做出一台很好的解码器。然而HEGEL在DAC/CAS方面的优势并不意味着它会停止生产很好的模拟放大器。HEGEL将继续生产优质的合并机、前级和后级。未来HEGEL将制造更多带数字输入的模拟放大器。 |
